Omega-3 fatty acids are essential fatty acids that are not synthesized in the human body, so they must be supplied to the body with the daily diet or, if necessary, in the form of dietary supplements. OstroVit preparation contains both alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), which can be found mainly in linseed oil, as well as eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), i.e. compounds whose sources are mainly oily sea fish and fish oils.
Omega-6 fatty acids are compounds belonging to the group of essential fatty acids that are part of cell membranes. OstroVit supplement contains linoleic acid (LA), derived from sunflower seed oil and flax seed oil, which can also be found in other vegetable oils, e.g. grape seed oil.
Omega-9 fatty acids are unsaturated fats, the representative of which is oleic acid (OA) used in the OstroVit product. The main dietary source of the compound is olive oil, although oleic acid is also found in rapeseed oil, hazelnut oil, sunflower seed oil and flax seed oil.
Vitamin A is a carotene derivative belonging to the carotenoid group. It is an ingredient classified as a fat-soluble vitamin, which in the human body is accumulated in the liver and adipose tissue.
Vitamin D is a steroidal, organic chemical compound, classified as a fat-soluble vitamin, which can be supplied to the body with food - vitamin D is found mainly in oily sea fish, as well as in the form of dietary supplements. On sunny days, skin synthesis of the compound is also possible.
Vitamin E is a group of organic chemical compounds classified as fat-soluble vitamins. It is a substance that in the human body is stored primarily in adipose tissue, as well as in the adrenal glands. In food, vitamin E is mainly found in vegetable oils, nuts, seeds and seeds.
Vitamin K is a group of fat-soluble chemical compounds. The OstroVit dietary supplement uses menaquinone, i.e. vitamin K2, which is produced by intestinal bacteria and can also be supplied to the body with the daily diet or in the form of supplements.
Properties of the ingredients contained in OstroVit Omega 3-6-9 + ADEK
Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) contribute to normal heart function, and the beneficial effects are found with a daily intake of 250 mg of EPA and DHA. What's more, docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) supports proper brain function and contributes to the maintenance of normal vision, and the beneficial effect is found when consuming 250 mg of DHA per day. Alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), on the other hand, helps maintain optimal blood cholesterol levels, and the beneficial effect is found when consuming 2 g of ALA per day. The supplement also contains oleic acid (OA), so it is worth knowing that replacing saturated fats with unsaturated fats in the diet helps maintain normal blood cholesterol levels. Oleic acid is an unsaturated fat. The vitamin A used in the preparation helps to maintain healthy skin and maintain proper vision, and what's more, it supports the proper functioning of the immune system. Vitamin D helps maintain healthy bones and teeth, and also contributes to the normal function of muscles. Vitamin E, on the other hand, helps to protect cells from oxidative stress, and vitamin K contributes to proper blood clotting and supports the maintenance of healthy bones.
Suggested Usage
Take 1 serving (1 capsule) daily, preferably after a meal. Drink with plenty of water. The product is intended for healthy adults up to 75 years of age.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. A dietary supplement cannot be used as a substitute for a varied diet. A balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle are recommended. Do not consume if you are allergic to any of the ingredients of the product. The product should not be used by children, pregnant women, nursing mothers and people taking anticoagulants containing vitamin K antagonists (e.g. warfarin and acenocoumarol). Keep out of reach of small children.
Store at 15-25°C, in a closed container, in a dry place. Protect from direct sunlight.
