OstroVit BCAAdvanced - comprehensive dietary supplementation

BCAA - branched-chain amino acids which include compounds such as L-leucine, L-isoleucine and L-valine. These are exogenous substances that must be supplied to the body from the outside, along with the daily diet or in the form of dietary supplements, because the body is not able to synthesize them on its own. BCAAs make up about ⅓ of the proteins that build muscle tissue and the site of their breakdown is mainly skeletal muscle.

L-glutamine - protein amino acid that can be formed naturally in the body, but when the human body shows an increased need for the valuable compound, such as during intense physical activity, the ingredient is also worth supplying to the system from the outside, along with the daily menu or in the form of dietary supplements. L-glutamine in food can be found primarily in meat, fish, eggs, as well as milk and dairy products and dry pulses.

Citrulline is an organic chemical compound classified as a non-protein amino acid which is a derivative of ornithine. It is a substance that, together with L-arginine and L-ornithine, participates in the urea cycle. Citrulline is considered an endogenous amino acid which can be formed in the human body by natural synthesis of.

Vitamin B6 - Pyridoxine - a water-soluble component that belongs to the B vitamins. The compound can be found primarily in whole grain cereal products, as well as in offal and dry pulses.

Potassium - a chemical element with the symbol K which can be supplied to the body with food - the compound can be found in dry pulses, nuts, vegetables or fruits, among others.

Magnesium - a chemical element with the symbol Mg, which is present in both animal and plant products. Nutritional sources of magnesium include whole grains, dry pulses, nuts and green leafy vegetables.

Sodium - a chemical element with the symbol Na, which is most often supplied to the body with table salt and products containing it, including cold cuts and bread.

Chlorine - a chemical element with the symbol Cl. Table salt and products containing significant amounts of the compound are considered to be the source of chlorine, but the substance can also be found in products such as wheat germ and calf's liver, for example.

About the labeling of allergens in product ingredients

We would like to draw your attention to important information regarding product labeling, especially in light of the growing issue of allergies in both children and adults. In accordance with European Union legislation, which came into effect in 2014, there is a list of 14 allergens that must be clearly labeled on the packaging of food products. These allergens include eggs, milk, fish, crustaceans, mollusks, peanuts, tree nuts, sesame seeds, gluten, soybeans, celery, mustard, lupin, and sulfites. If any of these allergens are present in the product, they must be highlighted separately from other text.

However, there is an important clarification we would like to emphasize. In cases where the product you are purchasing may have come into accidental contact with other allergens (cross-contamination), manufacturers may voluntarily provide information about the potential risk of allergen presence. Cross-contamination can occur at various stages, including during product manufacturing, transportation, storage, and food preparation.

Therefore, if you find a label on the packaging that reads "May contain...," "Produced in a facility that processes other ingredients containing allergens," or a similar notification, it does not necessarily mean that the specific allergen is part of the product's ingredients. This warning is for your safety and serves as a reminder of potential risk for those who have allergies.

It's worth noting that, since this labeling is voluntary, the absence of such labeling on a product does not guarantee the complete absence of cross-contamination with allergens. Similarly, the presence of a notification does not necessarily mean that allergens are mandatory ingredients in the product.

We recommend carefully reading the information on the packaging and following the usage recommendations for products. Your health and safety are important to us.
