Chlorella is an organism classified as a single-celled freshwater algae. We owe her all the richness, minerals, vitamins, phytochemicals and macronutrients because it can also be a source of protein. Chlorella can be a vegan source of iron that can usually be found in meat and vitamin B12, which should be supplemented by people on a vegan diet. It is documented that people who consumed microalgae had higher levels of vitamin B12 than vegans giving them up on their diet. Chlorella is an ideal source of chlorophyll, which in its composition contains about 5% which is a really high result among other plants, not only aquatic, but also terrestrial.
