OstroVit EAAdvanced - comprehensive dietary supplement

EAA (z ang. Essential Amino Acids) are essential amino acids, i.e. substances that are not naturally synthesized in the human body, therefore they must be supplied to the body from the outside, along with the daily menu or in the form of dietary supplements. Among the essential amino acids, we can distinguish branched-chain amino acids, known as BCAAs, which include L-leucine, L-isoleucine and L-valine, as well as valuable substances such as L-lysine, L-threonine, L-phenylalanine, L-methionine and L-arginine, L-histidine and L-tryptophan.

L-glutamine - protein amino acid that can be formed naturally in the body, but when the human body shows an increased demand for a valuable compound, the ingredient should also be supplied to the body from outside. L-glutamine can be found among others, in meat, fish, eggs, as well as in milk and dairy products, as well as in dry legumes.

L-tyrosine - protein amino acid, endogenous substance that can be naturally produced in the human body from another amino acid, phenylalanine. The compound can also be supplied to the body with food - products such as meat, fish, dry legumes or dairy products are considered sources of the amino acid.

L-cysteine - protein amino acid, belonging to endogenous compounds, the synthesis of which requires the presence of other substances, such as serine and methionine, as well as folic acid, vitamin B6 or B12. Products such as meat, fish and eggs are considered sources of the amino acid.

Vitamin B6 - pyridoxine - a water-soluble ingredient belonging to B vitamins. The compound can be found primarily in wholegrain cereal products, as well as in offal and dry legumes.

Potassium - chemical element with the symbol K, which can be found in dry legumes, nuts, spinach, potatoes or pumpkin.

Calcium - chemical element with the symbol Ca, which can be found in milk and dairy products, as well as in sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, kale, nuts and tofu.

Magnesium - chemical element with the symbol Mg, which is found in whole grain cereal products, as well as seeds and nuts.

Sodium - chemical element with the symbol Na, which is most often supplied to the body with table salt and products containing this ingredient, incl. cold cuts or bread.

Chlorine - chemical element with the symbol Cl. Table salt and products containing significant amounts of this compound are considered to be the source of chlorine, but the substance can also be found in products such as wheat germ or calf liver.

About the labeling of allergens in product ingredients

We would like to draw your attention to important information regarding product labeling, especially in light of the growing issue of allergies in both children and adults. In accordance with European Union legislation, which came into effect in 2014, there is a list of 14 allergens that must be clearly labeled on the packaging of food products. These allergens include eggs, milk, fish, crustaceans, mollusks, peanuts, tree nuts, sesame seeds, gluten, soybeans, celery, mustard, lupin, and sulfites. If any of these allergens are present in the product, they must be highlighted separately from other text.

However, there is an important clarification we would like to emphasize. In cases where the product you are purchasing may have come into accidental contact with other allergens (cross-contamination), manufacturers may voluntarily provide information about the potential risk of allergen presence. Cross-contamination can occur at various stages, including during product manufacturing, transportation, storage, and food preparation.

Therefore, if you find a label on the packaging that reads "May contain...," "Produced in a facility that processes other ingredients containing allergens," or a similar notification, it does not necessarily mean that the specific allergen is part of the product's ingredients. This warning is for your safety and serves as a reminder of potential risk for those who have allergies.

It's worth noting that, since this labeling is voluntary, the absence of such labeling on a product does not guarantee the complete absence of cross-contamination with allergens. Similarly, the presence of a notification does not necessarily mean that allergens are mandatory ingredients in the product.

We recommend carefully reading the information on the packaging and following the usage recommendations for products. Your health and safety are important to us.
